Honeymoon Guide to Paris, the city of love

Could you possibly find a more romantic city to spend your honeymoon in? Paris gifts its guests with beautiful buildings, fine dining, rich culture and endless romance. Everywhere you look, couples are in love. Dining over a delicious meal, holding hands, laughing, kissing, or simply enjoying each other’s company.  The passion of the French, in everything they do, is contagious.

Prepare to be dazzled by the iconic monuments that simply must be visited during a trip to Paris; the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre (home to Mona Lisa) and Notre Dame Cathedral.  And without a doubt, on your honeymoon you must visit the Pont des Arts Bridge, more commonly known as the love lock bridge, and lock your padlock onto the bridge as a symbol of your love. Don’t forget to throw your key backwards into the River Seine!

After you have paid a visit to the tourist attractions (and taken lots of photographs so you can relive your memories back home) it’s time to really start exploring. The magic of Paris lies within the charming boulevards, astounding architecture, the cosy cafés perfect for people watching, and of course the seductive French language. Try wandering along the streets of the Latin Quarter or stroll along the Champs Elysses, starting with petite dejuener in a café – complete with a croissant of course. Then continue your day as a local; sample some cheese from a fromagerie, taste homemade treats from a chocolaterie and pick up some fresh bread at a boulangerie.

In the words of Audrey Hepburn “Paris is always a good idea.”
